Built in 1930, this visually striking building on Broadway became known as the Brill building, after the haberdasher who initially occupied the premises. By the 1950, 1619 Broadway was home to record labels and recording studios, where many hit tunes were recorded. Famous musicians and singers called 1619 Broadway home, including legendary artists like Elvis Presley, Neil Diamond, Dionne Warwick, Burt Bacharach, Paul Simon, Liza Minnelli, Sonny Bono and Frankie Valli.

Located north of Times Square in the heart of Manhattan, this icon of Manhattan consists of 11 floors and covers 175,000 square feet. Designed by Abraham Lefcourt in 1930, the building opened in 1931. Its musical legacy continues to this day, housing Coed. Records, Inc, Paul Simon Music, KMA Records and Key brand Entertainment, as well as the entertainment studio Broadway Video , responsible for Saturday night Live.
