The short version
Can an assistant help you order?
Yes. A compatible assistant connected to Stealth’s MCP server can check availability, retrieve pricing and help order service—with your approval before submission. [1]
The useful starting point is a specific business question: Can this office get the connection we need, at an acceptable cost, in time for our move?
01 / Connect
How does the assistant connect to Stealth?
MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. It gives an AI application a standard way to work with external information and tools. For a buyer, this allows an assistant to request information from a business’s systems while helping organize the decision. [2]
Stealth’s endpoint is https://stealth.net/mcp. Your assistant needs remote Streamable HTTP support; Stealth requires no account or API key. Follow the connection instructions. [1]
Setup depends on the application you use. Have your IT team configure the connection if needed.
02 / Your needs
Start with your address and your workload
Prepare the full street address, borough, floor or suite, and your desired move-in date. Check that the selected building matches your actual office.
Then describe how the office works. Simultaneous video calls, cloud applications, backups and large uploads help establish capacity needs. Your IT team should also check router or firewall throughput and Ethernet port speeds for the service you are considering. [3]
For example, once connected, you could ask:
Ask the assistant to identify unanswered questions alongside its recommendation. A useful comparison should make the decision easier to inspect.
03 / The steps
Understand which step you are taking
Stealth separates checking, preparation and submission: [1]
| Action | Result |
|---|---|
| Check availability and pricing | Information for your decision. |
| Prepare an order | An offer to review. |
| Submit an approved order | An order, potentially subject to survey. |
| Submit an approved availability inquiry | A request for staff review; no order. |
If an address needs manual review, examine the proposed inquiry, contact details and data notice before approving submission. [1]
04 / Survey conditions
What does “Nearby” mean?
A Nearby location may qualify for a conditional order, but a survey must establish whether the connection is feasible, how it would reach the office, what building access is needed and when installation can happen.
A conditional order does not confirm availability or start the service term. Additional construction charges or changes to the displayed price or terms require separate approval before work begins. A preferred installation date remains a request until confirmed. [4]
This distinction matters when planning a move. Ask the assistant to preserve any survey conditions in its summary.
05 / Review the offer
Review the complete offer
Before deciding, have the assistant present a compact comparison covering:
- Location: The exact building and your floor or suite.
- Capacity: The selected Dedicated Internet bandwidth.
- Monthly cost: The recurring service charge.
- Installation: The applicable one-time fee and any unresolved construction requirements.
- Term: The initial commitment, renewal provisions and cancellation conditions.
- Delivery: Any survey dependency, access requirements and confirmed scheduling information.
Installation pricing depends on the building’s connection status. Eligible connected-building orders and Nearby orders use different installation pricing, so compare the offer for your address with the current Dedicated Internet price schedule. [5]
Open the applicable connected-building or conditional service order and terms yourself before accepting. For connected-building online orders, acceptance creates the service order even though payment is not collected at checkout. Billing begins after installation; the initial service term begins when service is installed and ready for use. [6]
06 / Your decision
Give approval for the action you intend
Before an order is submitted, explicitly accept the reviewed charges and terms and confirm that you are authorized to order for the company. [1]
If you are still comparing offices, collecting budgets or waiting for internal authorization, remain at the research or offer-review stage.
Treat an availability inquiry as a separate decision: you are asking Stealth to investigate a location and contact you about it.
07 / Next steps
What happens after submission?
Keep the returned reference and status. If acceptance is unclear, contact Stealth before starting another order. If retrying a submission, ask the assistant to reuse the original order token; if it has expired, contact Stealth to confirm whether the order was accepted. [1]
After an order, a Stealth specialist follows up within one business day. For connected buildings, the specialist coordinates the installation schedule and building access; for Nearby connections, the follow-up covers the survey and next steps. [3] [4]
Use that coordination step to settle practical details: who provides access, who manages your office network and when your team can move traffic onto the new connection.
